I think they need to post a sign at Logan saying that home made electronics is not acceptable.
A female MIT student wore a breadboard with LEDs wired to a 9V battery on her jacket to Logan airport while picking up her boyfriend from a red-eye flight. Did you read the original article? Anyway, breadboard is this plastic board with holes they use almost everywhere for teaching circuits. You can mount your electronic components (resistors and such) into the holes and connect them with wires. She was a freshman with interests in electronics and arts, she made an artsy piece of electronics and was wearing it like jewelry.
